Established in 2016 as a collective umbrella of independent producers and artists, 383 Pictures creates original content for digital and television platforms. From concept to execution, we develop and produce stories set to inspire and recreate the human experience through unscripted and scripted content.

Jason is an actor, producer, and social activist. Jason has appeared in various independent works over the last 10 years, starring in various independent music video, commercial and short film works. Jason starred in the lead role for Andrew Moodie's Toronto the Good, which debuted at the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in 2018.
Jason co-created and worked as creative collaborator on eOne's development of the digital series The Six. Jason's passion for telling stories extends to representing more people of colour on screen, and hopes to continue pushing for more inclusion in the film and television business.

With over 30 years served in the industry, Michel is an award winning cinematographer specializing in commercial, documentary and non-scripted television. With features having played on national broadcasters like NBC, MSG, CBC and TSN and having worked with brands ranging from Ford to Kraft, Michel has a vast portfolio of work in non-scripted television and branded content.
Representing the Blue Newt team comprised of experienced shooters including James Villeneuve and Alysha Galbreath, Michel brings a keen eye for story-telling and a passion to the business that is unparalleled.
Cinematographer, 383 Pictures
Justin Arjune is a Canadian filmmaker with over ten years of experience. A passion for cinematography and editing, Justin is devoted to embedding himself within all types of social layers to share the poetic experiences life has to offer. He has shot and directed everything from documentaries, commercials, short fiction films, music videos and series. His work has been broadcast regularly across Ontario, including on TVO, CP24, CTV, OMNI and TLN. His work has been to film festivals such as the Planet in Focus Environmental Film Festival, the Cleveland International Film Festival, New York Independent Film Festival, Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival and Toronto’s Indy Sportz Film Festival.
A member of IATSE 873, Justin has worked on major productions in the lighting department including 2022's Star Trek series and Netflix's The Umbrella Academy.

Founder, 383 Pictures
Steven is an award-winning producer, director & editor. As a graduate from the University of Toronto, Steven parlayed his student success, after winning Best First Feature at the U of T Film Festival in 2005, to earn a documentary producer role at the National Hockey League in Toronto. Touring the world, Steven amassed millions of views over a 10 year body of work, including the award-winning doc series NHL Life which earned seven w3 web awards, including Best Drama Series in 2015.
After establishing his company at 383 Pictures, Steven directed and produced the Washington DC set sports doc-drama The Cannons (Executive Produced by NBA star Russell Westbrook), which had its World Premiere at the prestigious DOC NYC Film Festival in November 2021.
On the scripted side, Steven directed and produced several indie shorts, including The Recession-Proof Professional in 2008, which played across the North America film festival circuit. With regional fanfare, Steven’s life inspired scripted short film Cliffside opened the Scarborough Film Festival in 2013 and in 2017 Steven struck a studio development deal with Entertainment One and broadcaster CBC for the scripted digital series The Six.
Steven has directed national-televised commercials and branded content pieces for major partners in North America. He has worked for major brands including 7-Eleven, Adidas, and Scotiabank and with major sports and music celebrities on various NHL-related projects, including Drake, Snoop Dogg, Wayne Gretzky, and Connor McDavid.
Steven is a proud advocate and ally for BIPOC and gender representation in the film and television industry. The 2023 development slate for 383 Pictures is an exciting mix of scripted television and documentary feature film.
